Landscape Archaeology, Heritage, and Interpretation

Fiona is qualified as both a landscape architect and a landscape archaeologist, and has over 15 years of professional and academic experience working in – and researching – historic landscapes throughout the UK. She has an in-depth understanding of the evolution of the British landscape, and is familiar with the  application of the Historic Landscape Characterisation process.

Fiona also has practical experience in how historic landscapes can be managed as heritage assets, through protecting them for future generations to appreciate, and bringing them alive by connecting people with their historic environment.  This experience is illustrated in the following examples of her recent projects.
